ABOUT
WHAT I'VE DONE
ABOUT ME
I am a 22-year-old senior at the University of Florida, graduating in December 2018. I have spent my last 3.5 years majoring in Political Science and pursuing certificates in International Relations and Public Affairs. I have also minored in History. All of my coursework has been chosen carefully to prepare me for attending law school next fall, and to prepare me for a career in politics and public policy.
While at the University of Florida, I have been involved in numerous clubs and organizations to aid the community. As Assistant Director of Operations for Chomp the Vote, I facilitated voter registration on campus and educated students about candidates in a non-partisan manner to promote civic engagement. As a volunteer with the Child Advocacy Center of Gainesville, I assisted victim advocates with paperwork, organizing, and restocking supplies. The most rewarding aspect was playing with the children and providing a positive, comfortable atmosphere to counter the abuses they have suffered.
WHAT I DO
Currently, I am the Director of Professional Networking for the UF chapter of Phi Alpha Delta, the professional pre-law fraternity. I serve the members of my chapter by inviting and scheduling speakers for the general body meetings. I have networked with and hosted litigation attorneys, law professors, and a county judge. They provide insight into the legal profession for our students.
